Austin was Mr. Happy from the second I saw him! I adore his big chubby legs, RED hair (no fair my kids didn't get any!), big eyes, and toothless grin!

Angie is a very good friend and fellow photographer. When she asked me to take her birth pictures, I was so honored! She is so amazing and I really look up to her. She's hard working, has 5 kids, has crazy talent behind a camera, busy and yet still has a great sense of humor! I love her to bits! It's so hard to photograph for another photographer - I hope I captured some of those special moments and emotions.

Sarah and Sam are two of the most amazing people I've ever met in my life! When they asked me to photograph the birth of their first baby, I was beyond honored. What a gorgeous and miraculous event to be a part of. I loved being able to focus on the birth and the baby while Sam could attend to Sarah and not worry about a camera and getting pictures. It takes a sincere amount of trust for people to allow me into their labor rooms and I am truly honored to be a part of this special time. If you are pregnant, or know someone who is, why not suggest this type of photography? These are feelings and emotions that you'll never re-live and having someone who isn't part of the 'support team' (hubbys, moms, nurses, sisters, etc.) to capture these emotions is something that you just can't put a value on. I CHERISH the pictures I have of the birth of my kids, but I don't have many because I was relying on my support team. Looking back, you bet I would have had a photographer there!

Meet Finn - Sarah and Sam's little bundle of gooshy goodness! Oh how I love this baby! He was the perfect sleepy baby and did just what I wanted him to do.

Tis the season for newborns! I have been loving it! Kiila was a few weeks old but she was still pretty sleepy. She smelled like baby lotion and wanted to snuggle.
